After speaking with some regular users of Netflix, I compiled a short list of TV series that I quite fancied watching. The killing was right at the top.
Originally in the UK the first series was aired on BBC 4, but did not continue. I hadn’t actually realised that I’d already seen season one, till I began watching it on Netflix.
It’s taken me a while to jump on the Netflix bandwagon I must admit. We generally buy a lot of TV series by recommendation and we also have sky. Obviously there are a lot of programmes that are Netflix exclusives when they first air. And a lot of programmes that I have started watching on Sky, have been discontinued and then Netflix buy them out to continue them on.
I am really into this series. We are currently onto season 3 in the space of a week and a half. It’s one of these programs that becomes addictive and it really is hard to wait until the next day to watch another episode. It’s making me hate bedtime!
Sypnosis (first season only)
Set in Seattle, Washington, the series follows the investigation into the murder of local teenager Rosie Larsen, with each episode covering approximately 24 hours. The first season covers the first two weeks of the investigation and has three main storylines: the police investigation of Rosie’s murder, the attempts of her family to deal with their grief, and the fluctuating electoral fortunes of a political campaign that becomes embroiled in the case.
I really do recommend not only Netflix but this series in particular. It’s really gripping and the story line never gets boring. It leaves you wanting more with each episode and it always ends of a cliff hanger. If you are into cop programmes, murder mysteries, then this is deffo the one for you.
So if it’s not already on your list, make sure you stick it on! Let me know In the comments if you have already seen it and what you thought! NO spoilers though as I haven’t seen it all yet.
Thanks for reading!
