Wow, 500 followers is pretty amazing!

Thanks so much for everyone who has followed, commented, liked and shared my posts. You will never know how much I appreciate it!

When I first started my blog a couple of months back, I never imagined people would take such an interest in what I had to say!

I’ve met some lovely people along the way and hope to meet many more.

Also a quick mention for my Instagram followers which hit 1000 last week, thanks so much for everything.

I equally enjoy reading and commenting on your things too, I always follow back! I have gotten some great tips from some of you and have tried many products that you’ve recommended.

Hope you all have a lovely day ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Mini Boots Haul ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Still on the hunt for the Kate Moss Nude collection lipsticks! But on the way picked up a few bits from boots today.

I did manage to actually get another 2 of the shades that I needed. I got shades 45 and 48. Also picked up one from her other range in shade 03.

Will swatch these within the next few days! I think I only have one shade left to find now!

I’ve been wanting to try a BB balm or cream for a while now, and whilst I was looking at the seventeen collection for yet another different contour kit to try I came across this balm.

My skin is terrible at the minute, so the fact that it said it will improve my skin within 4 weeks made me want to try it!

My friend uses the contour kit, and looks fabulous so I wanted to give that a go myself and see what it’s like.

I haven’t wore powder for a very long time. I’ve been using Soap and Glorys Solar powder as an all over face powder for a while as its light enough to give the effect I wanted.

However I’m one for trying new things all the time. So I grabbed this one as I’ve seen a fair few blogs recommending it.

Yay!! I’m so excited that I eventually found this product. I loved their Morrocon oil shampoo and conditioner and their coconut milk. But I seen Zoella blog about this a while ago and I’ve only just managed to pick it up in boots today!

These are going in my toiletries section of my Xmas list though. So you will have to wait a while for my review ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

You will see in the top picture that I grabbed some insence, that was from a little stall as I ran out of nag champa at the weekend, and this was all they had. But they smell beautiful. And for ยฃ1 per pack you can’t really go wrong!

So, still on the hunt for the last shade of the nude collection. Looks like it might have to be an online purchase. But I’m super happy that I managed to get the rest today.

Thanks so much for reading. If you have tried any of these products, let me know what you think of them in the comments!

July Favourites ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

I feel like this month has been SO long. More than likely because the summer holidays have started and we haven’t been able to get out much!

Kids have been attached to my hip almost constantly, hence the lack of blogging. I hadn’t anticipated that I wouldn’t be able to keep up with my one blog a day routine. So currently in just trying to get one up as often as I can!

So! This months favourites.

Primark Candles

After seeing a few of my favourite bloggers mention them on some of their posts, I grabbed a couple to try when I was there a few weeks ago.

I bought 3 in total. Two of the 3 wick ones and a single wick.

They smell amazing! And I love the presentation of the 3 wicks that are in tins.

The tins were ยฃ3.50 and the single candle was ยฃ2. Well worth the money in my opinion! Not only are they are bargain, but they look nice and smell great.

Scentsy Warmer

After being sent a warmer to trial for a blog post. I loved it so much that I bought my own! For those of you that haven’t read my scentsy blog, these are basically an electric wax burner. So no need for tea lights! You just plug them in. And pop a wax melt on top.

The smell is amazing! And there’s a huge range of scents and warmers to choose from. Check out my blog for details on where to purchase.

I chose the Bali, for obvious reasons and I adore it.

Mandala Wall Hanging

Purchased from India only last week and it’s arrived already! Urban outfitters are charging around ยฃ40 each for something similar. And as you will have seen from my recent post, we will soon be decorating our bedroom. So we have started to buy bits and pieces.

This was ยฃ13.99 on eBay, with free postage. I was expecting it to take ages with it being from India but arrived in just under a week. It’s absolutely enormous!

I have ordered a few others, and have some more in my watch list as I’m not sure how many I will need as I’m recovering my blanket box and the seat of my chair. All in different colours of course.

Excuse the picture, I obviously won’t be hanging them till we have decorated, so I’ve put it on my bed to show you.

Estรฉe Lauder Double wear foundation
Not really sure why I put off purchasing this for so long, mainly the price tag because I usually spend no more than ยฃ10 on a foundation.

Everyone knows my love for drugstore makeup brands but I just had to try it and WOW what a difference.

Although I personally find it too heavy for basic day to day, it holds up to everything that it promises and I have used it an awful lot.

It lasts all day, to the point I find myself scrubbing it off my face at the end of the day. My face never feels dry, the coverage is amazing. It’s an all round winner.

However I think this shade is too dark for me, fine for when I have fake tan on but not without, so will be trying a different shade next time!

Barry M – Make me blush cream

Just recently I was talking to a friend about the memory I had of being a little girl and watching my mum use her lipstick on her cheeks as rouge. And this product totally reminded me of that, so that’s why I bought it!

They have a few different shades, but I like bright pink on my cheeks. Goes on lovely and I just blend it in with a brush!

Lush – Gay is ok soap

Smells fruity, spicy and gives a bit a of twinkle. I absolutely LOVE it. But that’s nothing new, there doesn’t seem to be much that I don’t love from Lush.

Garnier – Micellar Cleansing water

I have super sensitive skin, so I don’t really have a skin care routine because most products really irritate my face.

However, I purchased this and i absolutely love it. It’s so gentle on my skin, leaves me feeling fresh but also takes my makeup off like a dream!

I use it every morning when I wake up and then use it before bed to take my makeup up.

Glossy box favourite – Teoxane cosmeceuticals – Perfect skin Refiner

I’ve noticed an incredible difference in my skin with this product, so much so that I dug my glossy box information card out to see how much the full sized product is.

๐Ÿ˜ It’s ยฃ70…. There has to be something similar out there for cheaper?! Does anyone know of a different brand? If not, I really think it’s something I might have to save up for because it’s honestly amazing.

I apply it after I’ve taken all my makeup off and cleansed my skin. It stings a little when I’m applying it but I’ve been told that’s supposed to happen.

My skin already feels more taught and smoother than it has been in a long time!

So that’s Julys favourites! What’s been your favourite products this month? Comment below or link me to your blog so I can read about them!

Thanks so much for reading.

Kate Moss Long lasting Lipstick swatches (Rimmel)ย

I have still only managed to grab 2 of the 5 from the new Kate Moss Nude range, but I absolutely LOVE them and I can’t wait to get the other shades.

They smell divine, they are long lasting, moisturising and make your lips look lovely and plump.

I also managed to grab one from the other range. Which I love equally as much, even though I don’t wear much pink, I’ve found that I’ve been wearing this one quite a lot!

Shade 40 (Nude)

Shade 43 (Nude)

Shade 101 (Light pink)

Top : Shade 40

Middle : Shade 43

Bottom : Shade 101

As I’ve said above, I’m super happy with these. They are by far my favourite lipsticks at the moment, hopefully will be able to get a few more over the next couple of weeks.

Thanks so much for reading!

Quiet time = Impossibleย

I’m super sorry I’ve been so quiet this past week, the kids have got me demented (damn you summer holidays).

I literally have zero time to myself, so I’m finding it difficult to be able to blog at the minute but I will try and do a few beauty reviews this week when I eventually get around to it. I have a few other items and companies that I want to talk about too, so hopefully at some point this week I may actually get some time to do it!

This house has been full of tantrums/meltdowns/fighting/crying and I’m EXHAUSTED.

It’s really difficult keeping both the kids entertained because they like different things. I don’t get out a lot due to Harri not really coping well outdoors (ASD and sensory issues) and I really struggle when I’m on my own.

I really feel the need for some time to meditate at the minute, but finding perfect silence is almost impossible when you have children! I’m going to grab my Zen colouring book and give that a go instead.

Thanks so much for reading. Hope you are all well!

First Impressions Friday : Maybelline Great Lashย

So last week, I decided to buy a different Mascara. I’ve been using Maybellines The Rocket for a few months now and honestly I think I might add it as my staple mascara because I love it that much.

However, I’m always up for trying new things. What kind of blogger would I be if I didn’t right? Pretty boring!

So I ordered Maybelline Great Lash on my Very account to give it a try.

First impression

Meh, it’s not really anything to write home about. I think it’s a mascara that I would use on my more natural looking days. Or one that I would wear if I wasn’t wearing much makeup at all in fact.

It’s great for length, and separation I give it that. But it doesn’t add any volume at all and I really like volumising Mascara.

I’ve found myself doubling it To make it look how I wanted, meaning adding time onto my makeup routine, when really I want to take away time!!

Will I buy it again?

So all in all, looks ok I suppose, feels nice and light, seperates lashes well and makes them look longer.

No I won’t buy it again, as mentioned above I like volume and I really don’t feel like I get that from this at all!

I would however recommend it to anyone that likes a very natural look.

Thanks so much for reading! Let me know what you think of this product if you have tried it before.

Toy review Tuesday!ย

Fisherprice Disney Little People

I absolutely adore this range and so do the kids.

We started collecting them last Christmas.

We started with the Disney castle, Ariel carriage and Cinderella carriage.

Then for Penelope’s birthday added in the Cinderella dance floor and the Tangled tower.

As with all Fisherprice toys, they are sturdy, thick plastic. Colourful and fun, pretty much indestructible which is a big thing to look for In this house! But because they are Disney related the kids seem to show a lot more interest.

And even though these were purchased for Penelope, Harri really enjoys them too. And it’s not often that he’s bothered with toys at all, unless they are sensory related, it’s also go them kind of playing together side by side. Which is a huge step for Harri.

What I find great about this range, is that there is so much too choose from. Meaning that I can purchase bits to add to her collection every birthday/Xmas etc.

We have already got her a few bits for Xmas, including the Aurora and the fairies package, Clip clop horse track and the Aladdin/jasmine magic carpet.

Yes obviously, some of the toys are quite large. So storage can sometimes be an issue. Penelope’s room is super tiny, but currently we are managing well. I can’t say I will be saying the same come Christmas time!

If you are struggling for ideas on Christmas presents, I absolutely recommend anything from this range. There is a massive amount to choose from (try Ebay for some of the rarer bits) and any small child that loves Disney will love these!

Thanks for reading lovelies!

My weekly purchases ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Safe to say that I’m well and truly spent up this month! Have went a little crazy this week. So that’s me done now till next month.

I thought I would do a little post to show you what I got!

Primark and Lush

Recently watched a Zoella video where she had purchased some of the 3 wick candles in a tin from Primark and she said they smelt amazing! So I went to have a peek and got a couple.

Little bit gutted they didn’t do the Peony and white tea in a bigger size as that smells gorgeous but still happy with pineapple and ginger, and also the red berry and jasmine.

The large 3 wicks were ยฃ3.50 each and the square one was ยฃ2.

Also picked up this cute little t shirt. I say little, this is a size 6 because they all seemed enormous and I wanted one to tuck into my high waisted black jeans. I’m usually a 12 in a top! It was ยฃ3 in the sale.

And of course I couldn’t walk past Lush without popping in. But I was trying to contain myself as they have already had quite a lot of money from me this month!

I got the marshmallow bath melt and the Big Blue. Both smell divine!

Very

Couple of makeup purchases from very that arrived this week. I’m still waiting on the NYX colour correction kit but that doesn’t seem to have arrived yet!

Kate Moss Rimmel  lasting finish in shade 101

This is a super light pink, it smells gorgeous and it’s a really pretty colour.

Barry M – Make me blush

I wanted to try some cream blushes as I’ve asked for some cream blush palettes for Xmas from Makeup revolution. So to tide me over till then I bought this and so far it’s great! Really pretty bright pink but once blended leaves a lovely glow.

Maybelline Baby Skin – Instant fatigue blur

I’ve been using the green tube (pour eraser) which I’ve absolutely loved but just finished it recently. So I wanted to try this one out. It’s a total different texture so I’m finding it to be a bit strange. But I’m willing to persevere with it!

Maybelline Great Lash

Haven’t used this yet, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. So thought I would check it out myself because I’m a huge fan of Maybelline products.

Loreal Perfect match concealer

I’ve been using this as a highlighter for under my eyes and it’s absolutely perfect. Great coverage and really helps brighten my face. Super easy to apply too.

MAC – Disney limited edition Malificent sculpting powder

I have to admit I bought this just because I love Malificent ๐Ÿ˜‘ however it was a total steal at ยฃ5.50 as I won it on eBay! Yay! And furthermore I really love it. I’ve been using it as my contour powder and it’s great for my jaw line/cheekbones.

Estรฉe Lauder – double wear – fresco

I’ve been putting this off for a while even though I really really wanted it. I’ve just never spent this much on a foundation before. As I’ve said in previous posts, I’m a huge lover of drugstore brands and I’ve really never spent more that ยฃ12 on a foundation.

But this was totally worth it. The coverage alone has convinced me that this purchase was the best idea I’ve had in a long time.

But it goes on lovely, doesn’t feel heavy or feel like I’m wearing 10 layers of makeup. I really have fallen in love with it.

So as you will see, I won’t be buying anything else for a while (I hope) as this lot and my superdrug haul was more than I’d wanted to spend this month!

But there are some great products here! Let me know if you have tried any of them and what you thought ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’•

Thanks for reading.
